About Us

Community Concerns, Inc is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) agency.  It is a ministry of the Chapel of Christian Love Missionary Baptist Church that began in the late 80’s as an effort to provide daily meals for the homeless community in Atlanta. 

In 1989, Community Concerns incorporated and began its Odyssey III Supportive Services Center.  This program was designed to provide not only meals, but transitional housing supportive services and case management, to assist clients in the transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency.

Odyssey III takes a holistic client-centered approach to service delivery and goal planning with the client.  After a thorough needs assessment, each consumer creates a set of goals and related tasks to accomplish with the assistance of an Odyssey III case manager.  Odyssey III is an excellent option for those clients who recognize the need for a life change, and are willing to work toward that goal.
