| How do I get referred for services? | ||||||||
Odyssey III requests that each participant present some form of documentation of being in the homeless situation. Therefore, a participant should be instructed to bring a letter from the shelter where they have been living documenting their story. If a client is being evicted, they should present documentation of having to vacate their home within seven days. A client being evicted from a friend or relative’s home should present a statement from their friends or relative documenting their pending eviction. |
| How long can I remain in housing with Odyssey III? | ||||||||
Odyssey III Transitional Housing Program will allow a resident to stay in housing up to two years, if client is compliant with the rules and the tenants of his Individualized Service Plan. Odyssey III – Safe Haven attempts to link consumers with a more permanent housing option within 4 months of enrollment. This placement is contingent on consumer’s compliance with Individualized Service Plan; Treatment recommendations of their psychiatrist; house rules and on attaining some form of financial resources. |
